Established in 1948, Jamshedpur Jesuit Society works with the following vision and mission.
Mission
Our mission is to improve the lives of the tribal communities by empowering them to achieve their full potential. We aim to achieve this by providing access to education, healthcare, clean water, and other basic necessities. Our goal is to ensure that these communities have the resources and knowledge necessary to thrive and become self-sufficient. We believe in working closely with these communities to understand their unique needs and challenges and to develop sustainable and culturally appropriate solutions. We strive to promote social justice, equality, and human rights, and to create a world where all individuals have the opportunity to lead fulfilling lives.
Vision
Our vision is to empower and uplift the tribal communities of Chaibasa and Chaira areas Jharkhand and Kandhamal and Rourkela areas of Odisha, ensuring their basic human rights and access to healthcare, education, and economic opportunities. We strive to create a sustainable and equitable environment where every individual can live with dignity, pride, and respect for their cultural heritage. Our goal is to foster partnerships with local community leaders, volunteers, and organizations to create sustainable change that yearns for social justice, equality, and human rights. Through our innovative and impactful programs, we aim to improve the living standards of these marginalized communities, provide them with the resources to build a brighter future, and create a world where everyone has equal opportunities and access to basic necessities. We seek a future in which every person has the chance to fulfill their potential, creating stronger and more resilient communities. Together, we envision a transformative future where everyone's dignity, diversity, and rights are upheld.
